Chalk Walk at the Midsummer Kids Festival

Join us for an afternoon of color, creativity, and community at the Chalk Walk, part of the Midsummer Kids Festival.
Presented by PTC Arts, this free outdoor arts experience transforms the festival grounds into a vibrant canvas where professional artists, volunteer chalk artists, families, and children come together to celebrate creativity in action.
Watch Art Come to Life
Throughout the afternoon, visitors can stroll through the Chalk Walk and watch incredible chalk artists create large-scale works of art right before their eyes. From imaginative illustrations to stunning street-art-inspired designs, every piece is created live during the event.

Alongside our featured artists, talented volunteer chalk artists from the community will be creating original works throughout the festival.
DOODLE Zone: Create Your Own Masterpiece
Young artists are invited to stop by the Doodle Zone, where children can grab some chalk and create their own colorful masterpieces. No experience is necessary—just imagination and a willingness to have fun.
Support Young Entrepreneurs
The Chalk Walk takes place alongside the Children's Entrepreneur Market, giving families the opportunity to shop local, discover unique products created by young business owners, and encourage the next generation of entrepreneurs.
It's a day filled with creativity, community spirit, and inspiration for all ages.
